Party Position on Presidential Elections:

The PPP will decide whether to resign or boycott during a meeting held after the presidential election is announced. It may or may not decide to field a candidate. No candidate has been chosen because no decision has been taken or will be taken until the Election Commission announces the presidential election and the Chairperson consults the party and takes a decision.
